Mindfulness in the Community
Connect, Learn, Share
Join free drop-in sessions on Zoom
Bi-weekly Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:00 pm (PST)
This group acts as a vehicle for healing and connection in our disconnected world.
“A community is the mental and spiritual condition of knowing that the place is shared, and that the people who share the place define and limit the possibilities of each other's lives. It is the knowledge that people have of each other, their concern for each other, their trust in each other, the freedom with which they come and go among themselves.”
Starting with the breath and body, we begin to build awareness of our internal and external experiences and tuning in to our needs.
Making mindfulness a way of life and incorporating it into everything we do. Discover easy everyday practices to use throughout the day.
Focus and attention
Learning to direct focus and attention to the chosen object, we start better managing distraction and rumination, cultivating inner calm.
Working with difficulties
Welcoming difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviors, finding another way of relating to pain, stress and reactivity. And much more...
"After attending just a few sessions, I have found that I am able to be more present in my daily life. That's quite funny to me, because I had never thought I wasn't present. The ability to meditate and re-center has already had a positive impact on my daily life by allowing me to pay more attention to the subtleties of life and clear my mind of that noise that builds up. Definitely an enriching experience!"
