virtual community mindfulness group

our group meets every Wednesday at 7:30pm - 8:00pm (PST)

Connecting with a community of people who share similar interests has been shown to increase overall well-being and resilience. Whether you are practicing mindfulness on your own, use an app or are just thinking about getting started, being part of a group can offer a lot of support on your journey. The energy and commitment of other group members can often be helpful to motivate your own practice. Difficulties and obstacles that arise in your practice are met with kindness and compassion of other group members, helping you to see that you are not alone.

Over the next 12 months, our practices will include:
  • Building awareness of our internal and external experiences
  • Learning to direct our focus and attention
  • Everyday (active) mindfulness practices
  • Working with difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviors
  • Building connection through gratitude and shared humanity
  • Cultivating compassion towards self and others
  • Discovering insight (our self-knowledge)
  • And exploring our purpose
